If you need kitchenware that can take a beating and keep on cooking, the GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Steel Coffee Pot is for you. Each pot is made of high-grade 18/8 stainless steel and built to last for years to come.
I am very happy with my little pot. It is just the right size for me. I like one or two cups in the morning. It works well on my induction burner, for home use. And I can take it camping, and use it on the stove I use that has fuel tabs. Haven't tried that yet, So hoping it works just as well. The only problem I am having is; the little pin that holds the cover on keeps sliding out. I think I will have to find a little nut and bolt, that fits , to hold it on. But would buy again.
Although made in China the coffee pot is a quality product. My only complaint is that it's a 2 cup, not a three cup pot.
Live the little pot only perk about two minutes and it's ready I'm the only one who drinks coffee at my house so it's the perfect size
This is the second percolator that I've purchased. My other percolator is a Farberware Classic Stainless Steel Yosemite 8-Cup Coffee Percolator which I consider a Cadillac compared to the GSI. I bought the GSI for its size, and I think this is the only choice out there for a small percolator. I used a magnet to test the quality of the stainless steel. It's pretty good. Almost no attraction from the magnet. The basket is only about 3 inches in diameter, which is a half-inch smaller than the standard sized filter. I cram the 3.5 inch filter into the basket and then wet the filter before pouring in the grinds and it works great. I wish the basket was deeper with side drains at the top. This would keep the sludge down to a minimum like with the Farberware percolator. I'm happy with my purchase and use it regularly.
