The replacement hobie mast receiver is a great item to have on board whenever your out on the water sailing your Hobie kayak. I can't think of a reason one of these would break. Possibly if the mast wasn't put in all the way while sailing it could break. This piece takes up very little room and can save the day in case of a freak accident.

| Review: | Original Mast Receiver broke on the bottom when I was out in strong winds. I'd recommend reinforcing the bottom inch with strapping tape. Also, you may need to trim the length to get the proper fit. | ||||
