Sawyer Permethrin repellent is for use on your clothing, tents and other gear. A single application of the Sawyer Clothing Insect Repellent lasts through 6 washings. Permethrin is odorless when dry. During the drying process it tightly bonds with the fibers of the treated garment. It will not stain or damage clothing, fabrics, plastics, finished surfaces, or any of your outdoor gear. Permethrin clothing treatments, when applied following Directions for Use, have been determined to have "spatial repellency" against mosquitoes. | Review: | We used this as soak,not as a spray. Followed the directions on the Sawyer Permethrin soak system, which is only 6 oz. of product plus a bag and a pair of rubber gloves and costs about the same as this. Spent 3 weeks in Peru and Ecuador and wasn't bothered by any insects. | ||||
