| Review: | I installed this fish finder in my OK Trident Prowler 15'6". It's perfect! The scupper hole transducer works like a charm. I've been in the San Diego Big Bay a handful of times since I installed it and I've caught fish every time! I plan to post the details on You Tube giving big "ups to ACK" for seling the transducer & fish finder together for less! Get the rechargeable 12v battery too; it fits in the OK Trident battery bag perfectly. I can see the fish finder clearly from my seat. I can easily reach the buttons and love the Advanced View settings. Did I mention it fits in the OK Trident's fish finder cubby when you install the mount on the front side. Use stainless screws, washers and nuts. Catch & Release! | ||||

| Review: | Works great unless your running it from the trolling motor battery. I know the problem is the speed controller For the trolling motor. And if youre running the trolling motor at full speed its not a problem. Otherwise the unit works great. I love the GPS helps you get. back to the ramp. No other problems with the depth finder. I really like the color screen its easy to see in full sunlight. I would buy this unit again or recommend to anyone else. | ||||

| Review: | Excellent product. I put this in my new Trident 13 Angler. Installation was easy. I did purchase stainless steel bolts, fender washers, and nylon lock nuts. I had checked with ACK installers in Texas and they said it would fit. It does fit perfectly but it has to be a perfect placement in the electronics box to fit. 1/2 off in any direction and the lid will not close. The base needs to be mounted on the back on the verticle surface with the unit folding down. If you have any questions feel free to email me email subject: Hummingbird Install. I did alot of shopping before I chose this unit. I had originally wanted a larger unit but installers insisted that it would not fit they were right. On the contrary the 3 1/2 screen is very easy to read at the distance of seat to unit. I leave the unit in fulltime. Another plus was that the tear drop thru hole transducer works perfectly with the Trident 13. This is a big plus as it is receded and does not interfere with loading, unloading, launching, etc. It is true that you will need to purchase a chip for the unit for navigation as it has no info on the pre-loaded UniMap. Navionic chips are pricey at $200. If you are generally fishing only one area I would look at the Hot Chips for about $75. This being said the the Garmin does include all info but the price is is alot more. Basically the same either way. The color and brightness is excellent, also very easy to use once you go thru the manual. ACKs price hands down beat everybody and the service with them is allways excellent. | ||||
