Review:	I'm giving this kickstand a 1 Star review only because of two reasons: #1. Even though I found the kickstand very convenient, I noticed immediately that once my kayak and roof box was loaded on the trailer, the kickstand itself seemed very wobbly once extended and set on the ground. The trailer leaned to one side slightly because there seemed to be too much play in the mechanics of the device this was on flat ground by the way, not a hill. #2 After only owning the trailer less than a year, and actually using it for hauling my kayak to launch points less than 6 times, the kickstand gave way while extended, lurching the trailer forward and collapsing under the weight of the kayak, & roof box sending the coupler into a hefty dig into my front lawn - and unfortunately, in doing so sheared off the push- button pin that allows one to extend, lower & lock the kickstand into place. The kickstand is now virtually useless as it will no longer lock into an extended position. I will be contacting Yakima to see if they will warrant this for me. I addition, I agree with the other comments here - that this kickstand should be included with the hefty price tag of this trailer. Great trailer though, no complaints there.

Review:	The kickstand was a one piece attachment that slipped over the main rail and attached using two bolts/nylon nuts. This stand is a great help if you plan to self launch away from busy boat ramps or like to lauch from the open shore line.

Review:	Cmon! Really? A trailer without a kickstand? This is a necessity for me and I really think it should be included in the trailer package. Youll love it. Just get used to it, Yakima sells its products a la carte. If you think about it, itll drive you crazy. Just go for it and be happy!
