Very reasonably priced option for as lake, river, bay and back county fishing platform. The seating is top notch and in my opinion out performs the Native canoe beach chair. Tried both. The adjustability is very convenient and facilitates finding a better position when the tush needs repositioning. Speed is decent and not at all as lackluster as I suspected. The boat is light enough to lift singlehandedly and throw into my jeep liberty with seats folded down and hanging out the rear window. There is just enough room and areas on the boat for all the angling necessities and it pays to set up an efficient fishing layout and stick to it, everything in its place. I will certainly enjoy my first kayak purchase for a long time to come.

I bought this for a gift and it was exactly what my sister wanted... Perfect for her. The only complaint I have is about the website. The site said it was in stock and would ship immediately. This was not the case, which was a dissappointment considering I needed it a few weeks after the purchase and that was why I ordered from this site. After I ordered I received an email shortly after saying it was on back order. I called and customer service apologized and said there wasn't anything they could do. I went back to the website after I talked to them and put another kayak in my cart which was still stating they had them in stock and would ship before the end of the day. So if you are ordering from them because they state they are in stock I would advise you call and confirm this before placing your order.

My wife loves her Tarpon 100 angler. The adjustable seats are worth the cost. If you yak more than a couple of hours you know what I mean. very stable and light enough for her to drag to the water.

I bought these for my wife and I as our first kayaks. To us they are easy to get in and out of, have GREAT storage for food, clothes, and other things you want to keep dry in the hull. It's got great bungee storage on top of the back, and a great place to strap down your paddle if you ned to stop and rest and not hold onto the paddle. Two of them fit pretty good in the back of my 2016 Tacoma.

Top Question & Answer
Q: is this kayak stable enough to stand up in?
A: While this kayak is relatively wide for a boat of that length, it will not be as stable as some of the longer and wider boats, such as the Wilderness Systems Ride series. It is possible to stand up fish from this kayak, however it will require good balance.

A: They are the same size
