The Viking Kayaks Profish Reload kayak is a performance fishing kayak with plenty of features for maximizing comfort and tackle management. The design of the bow provides plenty of lift so it doesn't bog down in rough coastal conditions. The tackle pod is completely removable and allows you to mount your fishfinder and transducer on the top and bottom and it will hold your battery and tackle boxes inside where they are easily accessible. The tackle pod can be replaced with the Viking Tackle Pod Flat Deck (sold separately) which provides a flat deck for more room in the cockpit and provides a small seat for a child. The Reload comes standard with 3 bucket hatches, Reload tackle pod, YakGear seat, 2 rod holders, and a Railblaza StarPort at the stern. Closeout 2016 model.

I purchased the Profish Reload site unseen. I really wanted a paddling friendly boat. I started out touring and I am now fishing more. I have to say this is the best SOT I have paddled so far. It is stable yet very sporty. I can easily cruise at 3 MPH without really trying. When trolling I have to watch out that I do not get going to fast. Here is my list of things that I really like about this boat - Paddles like a dream -Tackle pod is awesome - I like having the transducer in the water and being able to remove the whole thing (you need to buy the Viking transducer kit) - Tracks great without a rudder, I feel like the bracing is almost like a sit inside -Rod holders at the side of the cockpit, these work great. I would not think to put these here on my own but I use them all the time. -I was allowed to rig it how I wanted it -Weight - most fishing kayaks are tanks A couple of things that could be better -I had issues with the Stingray seat, YakGear upgraded me to the Manta ray seat for free and it works great. The Manta Ray is better suited for this boat. - I would like to have access to the inside of the hull around the seat area. If you every take on water there is really no way to pump it out except the front hatch. (I have had to do this before in another kayak due to a small hole in the stern) Overall I would say I got exactly what I wanted, a fast, fishing machine, I have had it out a dozen times and caught fish every time. Must be the boat.
Fast, stable, versatile, and comfortable what more can I say. Great kayak and ack made a custom color order happen for me they have always been awesome thanks ACK!
