I've been out twice so far with my EZ dry suit, and love it! Seems very well made, reinforced knees and sturdy zippers. I will use this suit primarily for fishing the Puget Sound and cold water lakes here in Washington. There are no pockets on this suit, but I have enough storage in my pfd. All around quality product, and I would recommend one for anyone in the market for a economical dry suit.
It's my first dry suit. The neck is a very tight latex with two layers of latex. I ended up trimming it down to one layer and it's more comfortable. While on the water I have to stretch the neck gasket occasionally to get a break from it. Other then that its great! The feet are somewhat thin. Im hoping they dont wear over time. I joined ACKs mailing list and received a 15 or 20% off promo code making the suit cost only $330ish!!! For the price you can't beat it. My only complaint is the tight neck. Sizing, I'm an athletic 5'9" and a large is a too baggy. It feels fine but looks big on me. Overall you can't beat it for the price. I submerged myself in 40*F water and it worked like a charm! It was a great value but I imagine a neoprene neck would be much more comfortable the this suit.
I was looking for a simple, low-frills drysuit for the shoulder seasons in VT - EZ was an easy sell. I'm 6'7", 240 lbs and the XXL fits perfectly. The neck gasket takes about 5 minutes to get used to, but I found it to be infinitely more comfortable than anything else I tried. Bought the Immersion Research Thickskin to go underneath and went for a test swim before a windy, late-March paddleboard; did not feel one bit of the 38 degree water. Wear spots on rear and knees are much more heavy duty than I thought they would be. only feature that would be nice are internal suspenders, but that would drive up the cost - I'll waddle a bit to save $200. A really great product.
