Finally, a lightweight Tarpon. Wilderness Systems redesigned the Tarpon so that it can be molded using a thermo-forming method that allows them to reduce the weight of the Tarpon 120 Ultralite by 10 lbs. They have gone over the boat with a fine-tooth comb to make sure we have a boat that is as light as possible while retaining the features that have made the Tarpon so successful. Same great hull design. Same comfortable seat and deck layout. Large tankwell. Space for flush-mounted rod holders. New to the Tarpon 120 Ultralite is a dry storage well that will allow the paddler to keep a few items in an easily accessible dry location. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Review: | Ive owned this kayak for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say its amazing. I would compare it to other boats, but it will be extremely difficult because no other boat can come close to it. Ive owned a Trident 11 and this surpasses it on every level, except storage of course. The lightness of the boat contributes to its much greater speed. Its also super easy to load on the roof of a Mustang by yourself. I actually feel like this boat is more stable than the Trident, but it might be because of how fast it is. The only downside I have found so far is the seat isnt very comfy (but then again what stock seat is for 8 or 9 hours a day) I simply upgraded to the Hot Seat Grande by Surf to Summit and it has made trips much more enjoyable. As for the customer service, ACK is amazing. They have been extremely great through my purchase of this boat and other products. I am very hard to please and frequently change my mind, and they were extremely helpful and patient with me. Thank you Wilderness Systems for an amazing product. A HUGE thank you to the employees at ACK!!! I highly recommend you try this kayak. If you plan on buying this boat or any other product, buy it from these guys! | ||||
