The Railblaza Visibility Kit provides the safety conscious paddler with everything they need to paddle safer while on your next adventure. The Railblaza Visibility Kit is centered around one Railblaza StarPort, one Railblaza TelePole and the Railblaza NaviLux 360 Degree LED Light. Also included is a high-vis fluorescent orange flag to help with being seen during daytime hours. Mount the included StarPort anywhere on your boat that you would like and then insert the TelePole. The NaviLux Light can then be installed into the top of the TelePole so that you can adjust it to the desired height. The Flag attaches to the top of the TelePole. During daytime hours, the NaviLux light can be removed so that the TelePole can be retasked to house any other Railblaza products. USCG approved - meets the 2 mile visibility requirement.

Got the kit within three days of ordering it. Very sturdy pole, the light on top is really bright. Mounting is sturdy. I read a few reviews on other products that said they snapped their set ups after rolling their kayaks over. I don't really thing this one would give me that problem. You have to be careful to make sure everything locks like it is supposed to when you are installing it when you are kayaking. With the pole locked into the base properly, I can lift the rear of my Big Rig, and nothing snaps off. My only issue is the flag is kind of smallish.
My copy is a piece of junk, The light grey clip that is supposed to hold the top light portion to the extension pole will not clip in I had to drill a hole and put a screw in to avoid losing it. Then on my last trip this lightly used item separated at the bottom of the pole when I was taking it out of the correctly released starport
Sound as if you might have a defective version that we would like to replace for you. we will be reaching out.
This works great and helps boaters know of my location thus giving me space to continue my fishing activities.
The pole and light are well made, but the flag is junk. The material the flag is made of cheap, the velcro tore off the flag right after the unboxing as well as the string thats hold the clip came right off. So the flag never made is out of my basement. So now its no longer a day time visibility kit, just a extremely expensive pole with a light on top of it. Save your money and just make one with some PVC and a USCG approved flashlight.
