Bought this kayak to bike shuttle rivers with current. Found a mesh messenger bag that kayak, packlite paddle, packlite pump and PFD all fit into and clips to kayak (total weight under 10 lbs.) Kayak is more durable than it looks. Scraped on gravel river bottoms and no signs of wear. Tracks about as well as expected for an under 10 foot inflatable, but in current not really an issue. Advanced Elements makes good stuff. Highly recommended for bike shuttle situations.
Really pleased with the handling; tracks much better than I anticipated. Using a 77" 4-piece paddle, the stroke is in close so nose sway is minimal. The seating position , without any added support, is VERY reclined, about 45 Deg. I put a frameless stadium seat in and problem solved. Very easy to enter and exit although you will take on some water. I also added a hikers sleeping pad to the floor, just for a little protection from hooks and wading boots. The only thing I am not wild about are the main valves. They require an adapter , included, to work at all; lose it and you have a problem. I also had issues getting any of my three HVLP pumps to mate with the adapter; had to add thin O-rings to one to get a good fit. The valves do inflate and deflate well. I don't even use a pump for the floor, which has a twist close valve; a few puffs and it's good. All in all, I'm very pleased; perfect for what I needed, easy to launch and portage for short,( 1-2 mile) paddles.
