Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game Angler II Class act I purchased the Ocean Kayak Big Game Angler II Kayak to replace an older non fishing model to use in the Gulf for both fishing and general kayaking. I was very pleased with both the quality of the kayak and the process of ordering and delivery from ACK. WIth some concern ordering such a large item for delivery , i was pleased when it arrived in flawless condition and with a well orchestrated delivery methodology. I would highly recommend both the kayak and ACK for anyone looking for a kayak with both great value in pricing and quality of product. ACK delivered promptly and securely to my location. Nice Job!
Love this kayak. Granted, I am a first time hard kayak owner. I've had an inflatable kayak for a couple of years, which is like paddling a brick through the water. I've tested a couple of other kayaks as well, like the Moken 12.5, which was really nice. But the comfort on this Big Game ll is far superior. It paddles just as easily as the Moken did and felt more stable right from the start. I've only had it out once so far and it was on a rare calm day in the California delta, so no waves other than passing boats. It did handle the larger boat wakes with ease though. Overall I am very happy with this kayak and I'm looking forward to getting it in the water again and again.
