The North Water Paddle Britches is a secure way to store your spare paddle or rod within easy reach. The openings are angled and reinforced so they always remain open and drain water. The paddle britches attach with velcro to any sea or touring kayak using existing deck lines. The reflective safety bands enhance safety in low light. You can even tuck away your primary paddle temporarily freeing your hands to reach for gear or reel in the big one.

Originally mounted on bow. Then I decided to put on stern deck where it seems a better fit, and look. Stern is also easier to reach in my Dagger Apostle 17ft Sea Kayak. I've had no problems with velcro, or mountings. I do have very tight deck lines. And I use a total of 3 cross deck bungees which keep my paddles very secure, while still being accessible.
The North Water Paddle Britches help secure your spare paddle in a simple and functional way. They are very easy to install, with their six Velcro attachments that fit around your deck lines. The closed front ends make sure that you spill waves and your paddles stay secure. They can easily be removed when transporting your kayak. This is an excellent solution to a common need when sea kayaking.
