The Eureka Taron Basecamp 6 is a spacious, weather-protective 3-season, 6-person tent for those seeking sanctuary after daylong adventures into the wilderness. The Taron is a freestanding, two-pole dome tent that features side brim poles for increased headroom and interior volume. It also incorporates Eureka's V3 Enhanced Tent System which includes vertical strut vestibule poles, vectored fly-to-tent-body pullouts and hooded fly vents. To keep the rain out of the tent, a reflective dry entry marker has been added indicating where to stop unzipping the fly upon entry to ensure dryness. The rear vestibule can be configured in multiple ways - as an awning for shade or closed to block wind and rain.

Really like the look and feel and ease of use. I have only pitched three or four tents in my time but with three growing children we plan to put this tent to good use. Built the tent by myself on the first time within 20 minutes, and that is saying something since I have pitched but a few tents in my time. Felt sturdy and would be willing to sleep in the rain until it let me down (if it let me down). Without the canopy the tent is but a shell, with the canopy it appears to be a fortress for stormy weather. Aluminum poles at this price point is a plus. Five star rating for the price. Enjoy.
