What a pleasure it has been testing the Bending Branches Hybrid Plus paddle for the last two weeks. This is a carbon fiber paddle that has the ability to adjust the length. It performed great for me while out fishing or just paddling. It is incredibly light and balanced and works well with my style of paddling. Pros: This is my first carbon fiber paddle and I cannot be more pleased with its performance. Lightweight, about 30 oz. compared to my other paddles that weigh 37 oz. I already feel like I can paddle longer because the paddle is so light. The balance is outstanding; I understand more what they mean by good swing weight. The elongated blades are perfect for my leisurely style of paddling. I own three different kayaks of different lengths and widths. This is where the adjustable length comes as a great feature. It can be shortened or made longer depending on which kayak I am using. Cons: As this is the first carbon fiber paddle I have used, I don’t have much to compare. The only small issue I have observed is the locking system for the length and feathering of the paddle. It has an internal twist locking lug type system and I found a few times when I was paddling it would accidently twist the handle and unlock. (ACK Note- The adjustable Ferrell will take some time to get used to) Overall: Overall, I am extremely happy and pleased with the performance of this product and would recommend it to anyone. I give it 4.9 out of 5 stars.

Review:	Very strong, very light carbon fiber kayak paddle. This is the first good paddle I have had, so hard to compare to other good paddles. Adjustable ferrule is good for use by multible persons or paddling conditions. The only real drawback is the inter- locking cam; it tends to loosen during back paddling.

Review:	I decided to post a 2nd review on this paddle since Ive been using it for almost 2 yrs. now. I still like it as much as I did when I reviewed it the 1st time on 05/27/2010. This is a great paddle! Very tough. I have not been easy on it at all and it has held up very well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone..

Review:	This paddle is everything I'd hoped it would be. It is very light weight so I've been able to be out on the water for hours without fatigue. The feathering and length adjustments work well. And so far this paddle is strong and durable. I highly recommend it.
