The Flush Mount Rod Holder with Leash Attachment Point allows you to confidently secure all of your fishing rods on board your boat. The included padeye mounts directly to the rod holder giving you a place to clip your rod leash, once it is attached to your fishing rod, and will help prevent you from losing your gear. The Flush Mount Rod Holder with Leash Attachment Point also features a bottom mounted gimbal that allows rods that feature a gimbal butt to be locked into place. All hardware needed to install the Flush Mount Rod Holder with Leash Attachment Point is included.

Bought two for my Native Propel 13. Installed them (both of them) in less than 15-minutes. Used a hole saw on my drill and the rubber (not foam) gasket for a template. Easy, easy, easy. A little nervous because it was my first project on the new kayak and it's my first kayak, so I am a newbie and inexperienced at this type of stuff. Did what the video's said to do and it was done. I like the rubber gasket (vice the foam) and the leash attachment point was a nice touch. I can now secure a rod while trolling and also not worry about losing anything should I (when I) capsize. The ONLY trouble I had were the rivets breaking off leaving a stub and not snapping cleanly. I used my dremel tool to take the tops off and smoothed them with the rivet body. Touched up wtih black Sharpie pen and a dab of silicon on top. Best $12 I have spent in a long time - well, $24 because I bought two of them.
The hardware that came with this product is subpar. When using the pop-rivets and seating them fully the nail that pulls the bottom of the rivet and seats it broke of, in fact it broke off on all six rivets that were seated. Not only that but the pad eye does not seat flush once the rivet was installed. Other than that, the product is as advertised. Simple does the job, just don't use the pop rivets if you don't want a correctly seated rivet, rather use a traditional aluminum rivet or stainless hardware.
