The Cascade Creek Yakclip Paddle Holder is able to be clipped onto your kayak cockpit right out of the package! Clip in your paddle, get in, and you're ready to go. Placing the Yakclip in front when getting in and out of your kayak will leave both hands free to stabilize your entry or exit. Use the Yakclip to hold your paddle while you have a drink, or move the Yakclip with your paddle out of the way to the side of the cockpit to reel in that big fish! The opportunities for the Cascade Creek Yakclip Paddle Holder are endless!
If you have a Pungo 100 you know that room is limited especially if you have already installed rod-holders etc. The Yak Clip required no special hardware or holes and is simple to use. When you are fishing a place to quickly secure your paddle is way important. Works great and holds paddle secure.
ordered 2, first one broke immediately, second went on fine and is functional; plastic seems kinda thin/flimsy; you have to be careful when putting it on
too many sharp edges and protrusions. mounted on the side of the kayak it hits the paddle or your hand. when I try to pull the paddle out it almost pulls the clip off the kayak.
This clamps around the carry handle on my Dagger Roam SOT next to my leg, I'm glad I did not buy the one that you drill holes into the kayak as I would of been hitting it every time I paddled, this clamps on easy and falls out of the way when not in use, if it breaks no problem just buy another and clamp it on, no drilling needed.
