This is a great looking paddle that is super light and extremely comfortable to paddle with all day long. Just spend six days in the Boundry Waters in MN and Canada and this paddle performed wonderfully. Super comfortable grip and large surface allow you to move lots of water with minimal effort. The only thing preventing a 5-star review is the fact that because it is super light when you really hammer on it gets a little squirrely. I was told by very experienced paddlers that due to the low weight when you really put in a big stroke it can move around a little. Still love this paddle and will continue to use it extensively on local rivers and lakes.
Great paddle! I'm really happy I invested in this beauty. I paddle a high mountain lake and western rivers. I was able to paddle all day without the usual elbow and wrist plaints. I just returned from three days on a western section of the Colorado River (Ruby/Horsethief) and the paddle was a blessing. The larger blade really moves some water on the flat sections and was a real help at Black Rocks where a menage of eddies, s#cks and boils can trap a boat. I own two Arrows and they serve well...but this beauty gets a protective cover when not in use! From somewhere on Colorado's Continental Divide... Matt
