The Ocean Kayak Trident 13 Angler is a scaled down version of the popular Trident 15. The Trident 13 Angler hits the perfect balance of speed, maneuverability, performance and stability. Slightly different from the Trident 15, the Trident 13 Angler features the upgraded Support Track adjustable foot braces to comfortably fit nearly every leg length and it's comfortable even with bare feet. The included Comfort hybrid seat back combined with the adjustable foot pegs allows almost any paddler to hit their comfort zone in stride. The Mod Pod storage pod allows you store your rods in the hull of the boat and the lid allows you to install fish finders or rod holders. The Trident 13 Angler performs well in almost any water application but you'll notice the superb performance in breaking surf and rough seas.

First of all, I would like to personally thank the staff at ACK, and especially Jason, for their outstanding customer service. I ordered the OK Trident 13 with the Surf to Summit seat and a rudder and could not be happier with my choice. I am 64 years old and the kayak I chose is light enough to hand carry, is extremely stabile and makes a great fishing platform. The kayak arrived with a broken carrying handle. It was packaged well, but somewhere between Texas and NJ someone dropped it.:( Anyway, a quick call to ACK and a new handle was on the way from the manufacturer ! Great customer service ! Free shipping and no tax sealed the deal. If you are in the market for a fishing kayak, the OK Trident 13 is the way to go. Order the one-way scupper plugs and you'll have a dry ride. Happy fishing !
I purchased my trident 13 in June. I have used it several times in Lake George New York and the Manasquan reservoir in New Jersey. I have to say I was a bit disappointed with my kayak. The first day out it sprung a leak from the skid plate. The dealer replaced the kayak with a new one. The seat is very uncomfortable. The ride is very wet. I am 6 foot 1 and weigh 200lbs. The kayak is stable and tracks pretty well. The rod pod is amazing. I need to figure out how to prevent my tackle from sliding around below the rod pod. The gear can be difficult to find when it shifts around .
Paddles very easy - fast and stable - may want to get a small dolley to make it easier to get to/from water - not that heavy but a bit bulky for one person to carry
I have had this kayak for about 5 years and hate the seating. If I am in it for more than about 2 hours my tailbone hurts and my legs feel numb. I have tried getting better seats from ACK but still have to limit the time due to but/back/leg pain. Otherwise it is a good kayak but if it hurts to sit in then what good is it for fishing?
