This coffee press is fantastic! It works really well and I even bought two as gifts and got five coworkers to buy them too. It's very quick and easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee. Now I just use the work Keurig for hot water for this press, instead of using K cups. Just two things to note, both of which are not defects but merely the result of thermal expansion: First, to get a good seal between the inner and outer carafes when pressing, let the inner carafe rest at the top of the coffee as it is brewing. This will cause both carafes to expand from the heat at the same rate. If you don't, you will notice that the inner carafe will allow some coffee up the sides. Second, if your press has cooled significantly between emptying and cleaning, you may have difficulty separating the two carafes. This is because the plastic has contracted (since you joined the carafes while they were hot). Simply pour in some hot water and let it sit for a few minutes, or twist the cap clockwise (as if to close) and use it as a grip on the inner carafe to remove it.

I love this thing! Super easy to use and clean. It makes a delicious cup of coffee and, best of all: I don't have to pay for those expensive K-cups and I'm not polluting the environment with unnecessary plastic cups! it's also a great size and stays very warm
