Aerial Photocard Maps 

These photocards of Lighthouse Lakes/Brown and Root Flats are necessary for all paddling trips to this area. Water proof and locations of takeouts and put ins make it a must have.

I have been using the Christmas Bay Photocard for the last 5 months and it has found a permanent spot on my kayak when I go out on the bay in that specific area. The map is easy to read and shows me a lot of detail, plus it highlights the paddling trails in the area making them easy to follow. Also the fact that the map is in color helps makes the letters on the page really pop. Pros: I had been looking for a small compact map of the specific areas I fish for a long time when I stumbled upon this particular one. It shows the main 2 areas that I target and it does so in great detail. Most maps are too large and the coverage is too broad of an area to be specific about a particular spot. This map excels at showing paddlers detailed landmarks so that they do not get lost. Reefs, launch points, marshes, and other types of structure are all clearly marked. Also I enjoy the fact that the maps are laminated, thus making them water proof. Anytime equipment is waterproof, it should be fully taken advantage of by kayakers. Cons: The only real disadvantage I found to this product is that it does not come pre hole punched to put in a binder. I personally own several of these maps and would like to put them in a binder to make for easy organization. Overall : This is a great piece of equipment for kayakers, and it comes in a lot of other locations as well. Each one is as detailed as the next. I would give this product 5 out of 5 stars.
