|Length:||75 ft / 22.86 m|
|Material:||600 D Polyester|
This was the length and size that was recommended in a swift water rescue class that I attended. It throws like a football, and is easy to reload.
I am an L4 SWR Instructor. These bags are poorly put together. They do not come with a warning that no knots of any kind are tied in the bottom of the bag. The average consumer will not have the training to know they need to remove all the rope from the bag and tie their own knots. I would recommend a bag from most any other company. I only use these as examples of what not to carry in my classes.
Thank you for the feedback. The Product Development team at Stohlquist has been made aware of the issue.
The product is as it is described, easy to repackage into the bag and the extra sleeve does add in this process. It's a little bigger due to this but the 75ft length is part of that reason also. I haven't actually used it on the water but feel the extra sleeve material will assist in a slinging throw as alternate opposition to only a "football" type throw...we will see :)
