Review: Well, this seamed like a good idea but after trying it out it really is nothing special. Way over priced for what it is.

Review: The material this bag is made of JUST might make it worth it - it's so utilitarian! The bag itself is minimalist to the point of being crude. It only has the center Velcro (black) strap to keep closed, meaning that for anything other than the cheapest-of-the-cheap plastic tacklebox that comes with it, contents could slip out in a severe capsize (not that you might have more important concerns in that situation, anyway). One additional Velcro strap, or a flap as in the NWC side bag, or snap buttons, would have been a better bet for contents' safety. There are Velcro hook and loop strips to fix the bag to the front of the seat as shown in the picture, or securely to the back of the seat. The "extra" Velcro loops when the bag is in front of the seat can be used with clips or carabiners to secure various items along the bag's sides and front. The bag is not so wide as to make standing in the hull troublesome - a definite plus. It does work well to keep basics like the small tacklebox or a standard/large-sized pair of binoculars, plus a waterproof camera and a few snacks, very handy. A water bottle will also slip in without trouble. Overall, you SHOULD get this bag IF and ONLY IF you have a particular use(s) for it AND wish to have a bag specifically made of this material, otherwise the price will make it seem a total bust. If it were priced by the manufacturer more reasonably (even for the generally expensive NWC accessories), it would get another star in the rating (less the other star because of the sloppy closing strap). The bag is very aesthetically pleasing when attached to the seat. Same material can make appearances go a long way for folks obsessed with matching fabric/accessory schemes.
