The Hobie eVolve v2 Solar Panel can charge the Evolve battery or run the Evolve motor indefinitely at approximately 2 knots in optimum sun conditions. The solar panel uses a dedicated plug-in on the v2 battery and produces 23 Watts of power for quick charging. The mat is weatherproof, ultra-lightweight, ultra-thin, and ultra-durable. It has a marine-grade connection and stainless steel grommets and rivets so it won't degrade when exposed to salt water.
