    Review: I am pretty new to kayaking and don't have much experience with my own equipment because it has always been rented. BUT when I first used this paddle I immediately felt at ease with the product and it was so light. Those paddles at the rental place were 10 times heavier than this crank paddle and my wrists always hurt afterward. Now no more wrist pain and WOW, what a difference a new high quality paddle makes. I love it! I thank ACK for getting me started with my new found favorite thing to do-PADDLE!

    Review: This is my 2nd ergonomic shaft Bending Branches paddle. I love them both! I paddle on the Missouri River, a big, slow river and like the extra "push" this gives me. I also do several rivers with Class II and III rapids and this paddle is so responsive when asked to move me quickly. As an older paddler (59) who paddles with a much younger crew, I'm not immune to the occasional testosterone-induced competition with my friends and my Bending Branches paddle is my "edge". Now my only problem is to decide which to use--my old favorite, purchased several years ago, or my new favorite! At least I have an extra for all the times when a friend asks to try out that funny shaped paddle. Thank you!
