As we enter into the summer months we at ACK wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers on a great first year. Due to the overwhelming response to our second store as well as our online site we continue to expand our product selection in our stores as well as online (over fifty new products in just the last month). We look forward to a great summer and hope to see or hear from all of you! upgrade - PayPal & HackerSafe
Late in may we introduced PayPal as an online payment option. This is in addition to Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover which we have always taken. In addition to introducing PayPal we have also updated our checkout process to a much more user friendly process.

In addition to our PayPal upgrade, we are now certified as HackerSafe by leading security scanning company, ScanAlert. This goes with our commitment to provide the best possible and safest shopping experience on the web.
Product Review - Dagger Blackwater 12.0
The Blackwater 12 has been completely redesigned for 2006. It is a quick recreational kayak featuring a unique, drop-down skeg for better tracking and performance. The skeg makes this boat excellent on lakes and reservoirs and still maneuverable enough for rivers. Full-size rear hatch provides room to store your day-tripping gear - with the added security of a bulkhead to keep your gear dry. The skeg stores inside the hull when you need to be able to turn freely in a river or lake and go over rocky areas. The Dagger seat is also redesigned for 2006 with an adjustable backrest that now goes up and down. Additional features are the adjustable foot braces, a built in security bar and two carrying toggle handles. This kayak is a sure bet for the recreational lake and occasional river runner.

Product Packages - Why we do not have any....
How come you do not have standard fishing packages and why don't you stock kayaks with factory installed packages? We are asked this all the time. The answer is simple - no package fits all paddlers and rarely does it fit the one paddler that is looking at it. Almost all factory packages come with two flush mount rod holders behind the seat. Sounds like a great idea, until you want to go fly fishing. Suddenly your flush mount rod holders are rendered worthless. This is just one example of the issues with factory packages. So, why do we not offer after market packages? Our philosophy is to meet and exceed the customer's expectation each and every time. By not pre-defining packages we are able to do just that. Looking to order a custom kayak online, not a problem, we are working on a configurator to allow just that, in the meantime, just call us and we will talk through the different options and get the items ordered for you.

Thanks again and look forward to sharing more information through our montly newsletters next month.
