It's inevitable, you do your research, you buy a kayak, you quickly choose a PFD but when you're confronted with buying a paddle, it's like you are a deer caught in the headlights. We can't blame you, it can be intimidating when you are staring at the paddle wall in our store or even on our website where we feature rows and rows of paddles. This may sound pushy coming from a retailer but spend the most you can possibly afford. Easier said than done of course, but when you consider the fact that you'll be making up to 1,000 strokes per mile, the difference in a quality paddle will go along way, literally and figuratively speaking. ACK's iPhone App - Kayak Launch Points Launched!
Nothing has received as much media attention as our iPhone App, Kayak Launch Points. The App enables users to explore, rate, add photos, review and share launch points while on the go. It was featured in Apple’s "What’s Hot section" and hovered in the top twenty paid lifestyle section for two weeks. The App is currently rated with 4.5 stars! We realize that not everyone has an iPhone. We are working diligently on an Android version but in the meantime, we have some great news! As of today, you can now explore and add your launch points via the web with our Kayak Launch Points WEB VERSION. Simply click an area of interest and you’ll be able to zoom in to either see or add your own launch points just like you would on the iPhone App version of the map. We invite you to give it a spin!
ACK TV Launched We now have a great place set up to showcase our very own and favorited YouTube videos. From instructional how-tos to product overviews, you can now access a variety of paddling related videos from our very own YouTube channel -- ACK TV! Be sure to bookmark it, we have plans to continually expand it in the near future.
