Demo DayWe realize that many of our email newsletter subscribers may be in other states sooo...ahem, sorry for the tease but the 2011 Spring Demo Days are back! The dates are April 9-10 for Austin and April 16-17 for Houston and San Marcos. If you have ever attended, heard about or maybe seen a few pictures, you already know that ACK hosts one of the nation's premier demo days with a huge selection of boats to demo from all the popular brands. Several vendors and partners will be conducting clinics from paddling lessons, safety and rescue to camp cooking and rigging your kayak for fishing. Light, nimble, full featured and affordable.

Tarpon 100What do you get when you take one of the most well-respected, popular and proven kayak and shrink it? Not much really, you just get a smaller and lighter version of it. Ok, bad joke but in all seriousness, we wanted to share this short and sweet review that one of our very own customers wrote after he paddled the Tarpon 100 on the Devil's River for 4 days.
