We hope you had a safe and splendid celebration and that you are still following through on your New Year resolutions. We've said it before but we'll say it again, 2011 was a great year for us here at ACK and we attribute that to you, our customers. Rather than reflect on the past, we've already shifted our focus to 2012 -- a focus that is dedicated to an even better experience for our customers. Biscuits, just a few simple ingredients is all it takes, but how you bake them will make a world of a difference. If you have yet to experience the warm, buttery taste of biscuits cooked in a Dutch oven after a long day of paddling or hiking, you seriously need to add it to your top ten lists of things to do this year. To my personal delight, I was thrilled to find out that we were going to start selling Lodge Cast Iron Cookware and was first to pick up a copy of "Camp Dutch Oven Cooking 101". Getting to Know Us:
I joined the team back in June of 2011 and have since been working behind the scenes as an Associate Buyer. I moved to Austin from Omaha, Nebraska to take this job and it's been a fantastic change.
