New Kayak Review
Old Town Cayuga 110
New to the ACK showrooms this year is the Old Town Cayuga 110. At first glance you will recognize the superior Old Town craftsmanship that has made the brand famous. After further investigation you will see the super-comfy, three way adjustable, Extrasport dense cell foam seating system and thigh braces, the water tight bulkhead, front deck rigging, and the ingenious cross-lock rear hatch.
At just under 11 feet long and 26.5 inches wide one might think that it would feel like any other recreational boat but as soon as your on the water it proves otherwise. With a hull design that is normally found on boats more than twice the price the Cayuga glides through the water with finesse unheard of. The cockpit is roomy enough to accommodate larger paddlers while the adjustability of the seat and thigh braces can make all but the smallest folks feel snug.
Just incase the 110 isn't enough for you the Cayuga family has three other sizes; the 130, the 146, and the 160 and they come in five colors; green, sunrise, cloud, red, and yellow. For those of you who are Eco-conscious the 110 is also offered in a recycled "one-off" version. The color varies with the mixture of materials so each one is unique and Old Town donates a percentage of the sale to the Waterkeeper Alliance. |

Micro iPod Case
I, like most of America have become addicted to my iPod and that doesn't change when I'm paddling. I never worry about my iPod getting wet and ruined because these iPod cases from Pelican are tough and water resistant. Available in black and white.
