AustinKayak.com continues to grow and is seeking a Full-Time Manager for our warehouse in north Austin. This position is responsible for all inbound and outbound freight including Internet orders and our retail Store transfers. The Manager will manage between 1 and 3 individuals and be held responsible for maintaining the high level of customer service ACK is known for through fast and accurate fulfillment of Internet orders and accurate Store transfers. The ACK environment is fast paced and requires high attention to detail as well as strong organizational skills.

Duties of this position include but will not be limited to supervising, picking, packing, shipping and transferring product. Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

• Prior Management Experience
• 2 yrs. experience in a warehouse or similar position
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. on their own
• College Degree
• Pass a drug screen and background check

AustinKayak.com continues to grow and is seeking a Full-Time Shipping and Receiving Associate in north Austin.  This position is located in our north Austin warehouse.  Job responsibilities include the fulfillment of Internet orders, receiving inbound freight and transferring inventory to our three retail locations.  The ACK environment is fast paced and requires high attention to detail as well as strong organizational skills.

Part-Time Sales Associates

Fun environment, laid back, perfect for the outdoor person stuck indoors. There is one open Part-Time Sales Associate positions available for immediate placement.

Part-time Sales Associates will learn the differences between 40+ kayak models and the application for over 400 accessories. This position requires a person that enjoys people and selling outdoor products. ACK does not promote or encourage aggressive selling but rather informative and helpful coaching coupled with the ability to close a sale without using pushy selling techniques.

Other duties include general upkeep of the store along with packing and shipping for our Internet business. We also welcome applicants with a strong Internet marketing background that would like to assist with and contribute to our online business. This may be a flexible option that can be a 'work at home' portion included with the Sales Associate position.

• Ability to lift 40 lbs on your own
• Available to work 16-30 hours per week
• Available to work during the week (San Marcos)
• Pass a drug screen and background check
