Austin Canoe & Kayak (ACK) is seeking a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, part-time sales associates and full-time sales associates to assist with day-to-day activities in our NEW San Antonio store. If you have a passion for the outdoors, and enjoy working in a high energy retail environment this could be the perfect job for you! This position requires a person that enjoys people and selling outdoor products. ACK does not promote or encourage aggressive selling but rather informative and helpful coaching coupled with the ability to close a sale without using pushy selling techniques.
The job primarily consists of assisting customers in store and over the phone, as well as handling Internet orders, maintaining inventory, and store upkeep. Learning and performing kayak repair and installs is a frequent task. This is an hourly position with growth potential.
Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

You will help architect, build, implement a world-class mobile ecommerce site for a fast-growing, leading Outdoor Retailer as well as build mobile apps for our warehouse management/optimization system. This isn't for the faint of heart, you must love cutting edge technology, be able to adapt fast and geek out on the latest blogs and newest tricks for the mobile space. Lastly, you have to be self directed and able to tackle the project without constant supervision, it will be your project all the way.
