Responsible for customer interface including but not limited to sales, product inquiries and order status. Maintains a customer-centric attitude while working with our Warehouse to quickly and accurately fulfill orders. Requires an understanding of Warehouse Operations, Customer Service and Inventory Management. Candidates should strive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to adapt to a flexible work schedule.

Job Description
ACK is looking for a self-motivated, forward-thinking sales professional to expand our fleet customer segment. The Fleet Account Manager is responsible for lead generation, sales, fulfillment and customer relationship management for ACK’s fleet accounts.

The Fleet Account Manager establishes contact, builds relationships and drive sales to tax-exempt entities and large purchase groups including, but not limited to:
  • Municipal Service Agencies - Fire/Police/EMT departments
  • Government Agencies - DNR, National/State Parks, Border Patrol
  • Healthcare - Hospitals
  • Non-Profits - Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts, summer camps
  • Education - College/intramural groups, Outdoor Adventure Recreation programs
  • Rental Operations

In addition to identifying opportunities and driving sales, the Fleet Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of the fulfillment process, including customer service and relationship management post-sale. This position works closely with ACK merchandising, inventory and operations management teams to ensure delivery of top class customer service.

If you have a passion for the outdoors, and enjoy working in a high energy retail environment this could be the perfect job for you! This position requires a person that enjoys people and selling outdoor products. ACK does not promote or encourage aggressive selling but rather informative and helpful coaching coupled with the ability to close a sale without using pushy selling techniques.

The job primarily consists of assisting customers in store and over the phone, as well as handling Internet orders, maintaining inventory, and store upkeep. Learning and performing kayak repair and installs is a frequent task. This is an hourly position with growth potential.
