Whew! ACK’s 2012 Winter Boat Show Tour has come to a close and boy are we spent, but the effort was every bit worth it. Historically, we have attended 3-4 shows per year but in 2012, we kicked it up a notch by adding the Dallas Boat Show to our schedule and we’re sure glad we did! Not only did we get to meet a lot of new friends, we quickly figured out that the paddling community is way under served and we were glad to have been there to help answer questions. We’d like to thank the Dallas/Ft Worth area for your hospitality and we look forward to seeing you more often.
That said, we must also take a moment to thank a few people for supporting us through our most successful boat show tour yet. This includes all of those (customers and visitors) that took the time to stop by our booth, our vendors and partners for their on and off-site support and of course our amazing staff. Didn’t make it? Here is a video preview of what you missed!
We look forward to next year but until then, anyone up for a little demo day action? Be sure to sign up for email list if you haven’t already to stay in the loop!
They’re almost here…the 2012 Winter Boat Shows! It’s like the Holidays for boat lovers. For those unfamiliar with the boat shows, these events bring together a variety of boat dealers under one roof for a chance to shop for every make, model and style available. While the shows mostly focuses on powerboats, ACK has made a tradition to mix it up with an amazing display of kayaks for you to see, touch and discuss with our knowledgeable staff and manufactures’ representatives.
Here is our 2012 boat show schedule. We hope to see you there and of course, do expect some great offers and opportunities to win prizes! – Roland @ACK
Austin Canoe and Kayak was recently in attendance as an exhibitor at the “In the Water” Austin Boat Show. What makes this event unique from many of the other boat shows that are usually held in a convention or events center is that attendees get to shop for their next boat (or kayak) on the water.
We had a great time out there and would like to thank all of the attendees that stopped by to visit with us. Along with near perfect weather, the surrounding hill country, and of course the lake, the setting provided a beautiful backdrop throughout the day. Attendees were also able to enjoy food, drinks and live music at “Carlos’ and Charlie’s”, which was literally just a few steps away. We had several Hobie kayaks available for demo amongst a few others.
If you didn’t have a chance to make it out to the Austin In the Water Show this year, sign up for our Newsletter Email List or Become a “Fan” of our Facebook page and you’ll be sure to get the memo for these and many other events in the coming year. Looking for something to do when the weather ‘cools’ down this winter? Visit us at the Austin, Houston or San Antonio boat shows in January. Its the perfect time to get ready for spring which will be right around the corner. Details on these shows coming soon.
