With this being an El Niño year, there’s a ton of snow forecasted for the next few months which is great news for all you powder junkies. There’s nothing better than cruising on freshly fallen snow – especially when you’re venturing off the beaten path.
When winter rolls around, I find myself lusting for those summer days where you could just slip into a bathing suit, slap on some sunscreen and a hat and be good to go for a day of paddling. Colder weather calls for much more preparation when you’re dressing to keep warm on the water.

Hands down, the Holidays are my favorite time of year.
