We recently wrapped up the 2016 ACK Spring Kayak and Stand-Up Paddleboard Demo Days and man were they one for the books! We had a record number of boats on the water as well as vendor representatives present and we hope y’all were able to take advantage of the great clinics they hosted.
When it comes to fishing, the majority of my personal experience is with a conventional rod, not fly fishing. However, hanging out with fly fishing aficionados like Ryan Schaper and Nate Wilson from our Austin store has certainly sparked an interest in getting more involved with the fly fishing scene.
Before I got my Chacos, I was jumping around from brand to brand of men’s sandals. Columbia’s would slip off in even the smallest of currents, Tevas were better but they didn’t fit my feet comfortably, and water shoes would get rocks and sand in them when porting my kayak.
