Kayak Angler’s Tournament Series (KATS) donates funds raised by anglers to help support the Fort Hood, Texas chapter of Heroes on the Water and Explore Austin. Austin, Texas (March 21, 2016) – The Kayak Angler’s Tournament Series (KATS) organization is pleased to announce a donation total of $4,720, which was raised through charity raffle sales, to help support two Texas based non-profits, the Fort Hood Chapter of Heroes on the Water and Explore Austin.
For the first time in 10 years, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is stocking the Guadalupe River with brown trout.This is exciting news for Texas anglers as brown trout are more of a challenge to catch than their counterparts, rainbow trout.
