This year is our 10th annual Spring Demo Days and at this rate, it’s panning out to be our best yet! This year, we are honored to be able to represent and carry some of the leading kayak brands the industry offers including: Feel Free, Old Town, Viking, Wilderness Systems and of course Hobie. Revolutionary moves are being implemented in the business including the release of Old Town’s Predator XL Minn Kota and Hobie’s Revolution 16. Here are just a few of the new Kayaks that we plan on showing off.
Wilderness Systems ATAK
The Wilderness Systems ATAK – Advanced Tactical Angling Kayak has a design that can be customized to meet the needs of any angler. The wide deck is ideal for walking, standing, and scoping the waters for nearby fish. The boat features Wilderness Systems new AirPro MAX seat which allows you to move about the entire length of the deck. This is a boat that can adjust to just about any environment and any target species. They are currently available for pre-order (said to ship around the end of April 2015) and are going fast!
Hobie Pro Angler 17T
The Hobie Pro Angler 17T is a fishing machine for two made with style and comfort in mind. Both paddlers (or peddlers) can fish upright with control and stability. Fishing rod storage is located both in front and in the rear of the boat and holds up to 12 rods; 2 vertical and 10 horizontal. The Pro Angler 17T is Lowrance Ready with pre-installed thru-hull cable plug outlets and just like the original, the Pro Angler, the 17T is powered by Hobie’s MirageDrive pedal system.
Old Town Predator XL Minn Kota
The Predator XL Minn Kota prides itself on being the perfect platform for fishing. The incredible Modular Console System and Minn Kota motors are it’s main highlights. The three different consoles can easily be swapped out to completely customize your fishing experience. The Minn-Kota Console offers complete hands-free navigation and trolling with 45 lbs of variable thrust. The boat also features Six removable mounting plates that allow you to customize your boat without any drilling.
Native Watercraft Slayer 10 Propel
The Slayer 10 Propel is the newest and smallest member of the Slayer family. The Slayer 10 Propel has many of the same features as the Slayer 13, but its lighter and more maneuverable. It features a wide open deck and a fast stable hull as well as an extra large rudder. This kayak features the only pedal drive that pedals in reverse. The open bow storage is perfect for storing PFD’s and any accessories you choose to bring along.
