| Flush mount Rod Holder Sharpie 13/64" drill bit 1/2" Butterfly Bit Jig Saw Drill Rivet Gun 4 Rivets |

| Tools Needed: | |

| Step 1: Locate the area that you would like to install a flush mount rod holder. Using the foam gasket that comes with it trace a line around the inside of the gasket. | |

| Step 2: Using the 1/2" butterfly bit, drill inside the circle you just traced to allow access for the jigsaw. | |

| Step 3: Following the line you traced, use the jigsaw to slowly cut the hole out. | |

| Step 4: Remove the excess piece and store somewhere you will remember as you can use that plastic later to patch your kayak up if needed. Step 5: Insert your flush mount rod holder in the hole with the angled tube facing away from the direction you want your rod to go. |

| Step 6: Hold your rod holder in place while you use the 13/64" drill bit to drill into the kayak. | |

| Step 7: Insert the rivets into the holes you just drilled and use your rivet gun to squeeze the rivets tight. | |
