Welcome to ACK!
Founded over 20 years ago, ACK is your specialty paddlesports and outdoor adventure retailer based out of the central Texas area. We purchased the Austin Texas store location back in 2005 and have since opened up a store in San Marcos and Houston and of course, the Internet. Having started with only 20 kayak/canoe models and 100 accessories we have expanded to having over 246 kayaks/canoes and over 2500 accessories (as we type this). Despite the phenomenal growth, we haven't lost touch with what matters most, you, our customer. The ACK team is and will always be 100% committed to your complete and total satisfaction and we promise to continue offering the type of service you've come to expect from us.
We love to hear from our customers, if you have any questions for us please don't hesitate to ask. While we are tempted to provide our personal email addresses we ask that you contact us using the "Contact Us" form. Sorry…too many spammers out there but don't worry, we'll respond promptly.
Thanks and happy paddling! - Peter, Steve and Chris

Teva Churn Water Shoes - Nothing beats this water shoe when you are doing some cliff jumping and swimming in a rocky bottom lake.
SealLine E-Case Waterproof Electronics Case - Take your cell phone with you on the water, use the touch screen, make calls, do it all without risking your phone or any electronic product.
Stream Machine Double Barrel Water Gun DB-1500 - Blast your buddy with this twofer!

Kuat Bottle Bicycle Lock - Well thought out and cleverly designed. Durable, rugged and built to last. Tested it extensively with a sledgehammer...bottle almost won.
Bleuet Pocket Stove - Simple and compact. Fits in the front pocket of my flannel shirts. Boils water relatively quickly and it's inexpensive and impossible to break. Who could ask for more?
Thule Crossover 25 Liter Backpack - I have been traveling with this pack for over a year now and I love it. Easy to keep everything organized. The SafeZone for sunglasses and other fragile items is ingenious.

Hobie Pro Angler - I love this big ol'kayak. This boat moves much better than I anticipated and rigs out with everything I want and need. This summer I am going to rig this bad boy up with a bike rack and go on a 3-day kayak/mountain bike excursion - I am.
Columbia PFG Blood and Guts Shirts - My entire wardrobe has crossed over so much that I look like I'm sponsored by Columbia now. In the past, I have stayed away from lighter colors because I spill everything on my cloths. I don't have the worry about it with this bad boy.
Teva Churns Shoes - I spend my summers wearing my Churns. Whether paddling the San Marcos river, swimming with my son at Barton Springs or Jumping off the cliffs on Lake Travis.

Wilderness Systems Commander 140 - Hands down my favorite kayak specifically because of its comfort (I have a bad back), stability and cargo space.
Columbia PFG Blood and Guts Shirts - If I could, I would own one in every color. I try to spend as much time on or near the water in the hot sun and this shirt suits my needs because it keeps me cool, never seems to be soaked with sweat or water and repels stains.
Thule Xsporter 421 and Xsporter 422 - Love it...period. This system not only looks and feels rock solid, it really is! When traveling, I feel comfortable knowing that this rack is going to keep my kayaks secure.

Wilderness Systems Ride 135 - I began kayak fishing last year from this kayak and have not fished from a bass boat since. I am experiencing nature in a much more intimate way and enjoying my trips even if I don't catch fish.
Lodge Logic 6qt Dutch Oven - My recent camping experiences have included trying out new recipes for cooking using the this a variety of Lodge Logic Dutch Oven. So far my favorite is Peach Cobbler. Yum!
Therma Rest Neo Air Mattress - Packs small and offers plenty of comfort.

GSI Outdoors Bugaboo Camper Cookset - Everything all in one place, you can cook up any meal, serve it, then wash in the sink that it all gets stored in.
Kelty Basecamp Kitchen - Love that it's a place to cook, prep and store everything at any base camp. Better than using dirty picnic tables any day!
Sierra Designs Wu Hu Annex 4+2 Tent - Spacious, easy to put up (my daughter at 10 could but up by herself) and you can stand in it. Plenty of room if you have 4 to 6 persons and yet, you'll still have room to play a round of cards.

Wilderness Systems Tsunami 125 - A great boat for weekend river trips, plenty of storage room and it glides like a dream.
Go Girl - I can now pee of the porch with my Dad – 'nuff said
Kelty Basecamp Kitchen - An essential for any base camping situation. Easy set up and breakdown with lots of ways to keep your cookware organized and it's just plain cool!

GoPro Video Camera - Easy to use and it simply makes great videos making anyone look like a pro.
Teva Churn Shoes - The best water shoe I have ever owned, period.
Wilderness Tarpon 120 Kayak - It's the only one I use. Awesome all around kayak for a variety of activities that I enjoy on the water.

ENO Doublenest Hammock - This portable (and maximum) relaxation unit sets up in seconds and can go with you to all ends of the earth because it's lightweight and packs into the size just smaller than a pigskin.
Yeti 50qt Team Color Cooler Red & White - Sure a $5 t-shirt will show you're supporting your favorite college team, but when it's time to get serious I can't think of a better/more essential item to sidle up to a tailgate with than a sharp-looking Yeti Team Color Cooler. Red and White, or Indiana Hoosiers colors are the choicest around.
CamelBak Rim Runner Hydration Pack - Staying hydrated is essential. So is carrying things with you that won't fit in your pocket. The Rim Runner is the best of both worlds as a daypack and hydration source.

MSR Dragonfly Stove - I've used this stove a lot on backpacking and paddling trips. I like the dragonfly better than the whisper lite because it elevates your pot or pan off of the heat source and is more stable.
Aquamira Water Treatment Drops - I like using the drops on backpacking trips because it's light, simple and does not taste like iodine.
Tarpon 100 Angler - This boat is ideal for freshwater fishing in central Texas. It's light, stable, comfortable, durable, and affordable.
