You will find our staff experienced enough to talk with the most knowledgeable boater and thrilled to help the novice learn about the sport and find the right equipment. At ACK you can always test drive new equipment before you buy - in fact, we suggest first time boaters do this!

ACK is successful because of our unwavering customer service and dedication and love of the exploration of the outdoors. Our only goal is to be your first and finest source and resource for canoeing and kayaking.

ACK is owned by brother's Peter and Steve along with Chris. We purchased Austin Canoe & Kayak in May 2005 and since have expanded to San Marcos, Houston and of course, the internet. Having started with just 20 models and 100 accessories we have expanded to nearly 1,000 accessories (as I type this) and over 55 models.

What we have not lost focus on is the customer. We believe in customer service and would like every customer to be treated how we would want to be treated. We promise the best possible service.
